Subvert Studio was founded in 2023 by Ben, a digital product and delivery leader with two decades of agency experience. In his time at big agency networks, he led varied digital programmes of work for clients such as Samsung and KFC, delivering everything from digital strategy, creative, rapid prototyping, innovation and concepting, through to UX/UI design, web and app development, AR/VR, and digital experiential.
Dissasitfied with the limited levels of ethical decision making and leadership he found in the wider agency and consulting industry, and driven by a desire to apply his experience to things that matter, Ben set out in a journey to create his own vehicle for positive change.
The ethos of our studio is also imbued with Ben's 20 years of experience as a successful coach and leader, building on his practical understanding of how to develop mutual respect, cooperation, mindfulness and critical thinking in others. Both as an instructor and a team manager, he has coached young adults from a wide range of backgrounds to grow in confidence and ability, and ultimately to develop their own leadership skills - something that not only has helped him grow professionally, but that he believes is crucial to the success of future generations in the workplace and society.
